you know how much I enjoy planning trips....after giving it some thought, I think it's probably more cost effective to fly.

Besides, you don't get miles for swimming....
i had no idea about your destination until I saw the swimming part. hilarious!! other than that, sounds like fun! when are you headed over -- and will you be back in time for FA next year, given the swim?
