and now i am sad to report that indian summer seems to be over. Highs today in the low 60s, 50s tomorrow. which means, sigh, that it's time for shoes and socks again.
we're moving into the fall season in Iraq. it's in the low 90s during the day, and it's been in the 70s at night. i think tonight it might be in the 60s. brrrrrr. (ha! 60s DO feel cold after being in the hundreds at night!)

Gosh, Maryl sets it all into perspective, doesn't she?
The leaves are changing here, and we have a frost warning tonight.
However, the hot flashes will negate any positive change simply because the A/C doesn't know what to do.
m---sounds like you're living in DC in august. Get your sweater out
